Campgrounds in the Smoky Mountains

[ North Carolina ] [ More Lodging ] [ How to Get Here ]

Campgrounds are an inexpensive and casual way to spend a summer vacation. Their facilities usually cater to RV owners, tent campers, or a combination of both. Rod's Guide offers a directory of all three types of campgrounds, and also includes a special section adapted from Johnny Molloy's tips in his new guide "The Best in Tent Camping: Smoky Mountains". Average cost per night: $8 for tent sites.
